Halo 3 killed the movie industry?

So they say that Halo 3 was responsible for killing the box office a couple of weeks back. But I can't believe how a single game would be responsible for a lackluster result, especially at this time of year. That's like blaming the weather. Sure, it'll effect it, but not necessarily be the only cause (don't count hurricanes though). The movies are nothing great, summer is over, people are trying to make the most of their last sunny weekends of the year (yes, East Coast).

And let's be honest, if "Why did I get Married" came as #1 this week, then there's something seriously wrong with the state of movies that are coming out right now.

And if they're really blaming Halo 3 directly for affecting their box office income, I'm surprised that the Halo movie was canceled at all.!

No idea if this blog made any sense, but this is what you get when I'm sick.
