lol i used to work for them seen the error of my ways , poor management
but then again every delivery company always has 1 moaning prick
Crap company, they lie and say they tried to delivery when you are in and then lie again and say they left a card, when they blatantly didn't. I certainly won't buy anything again that needs delivering by HDNL
Try being at home instead of ****ing lieing and saying you were when you know damn well you were out.
Get a ****ing life, all you ****s do is sit at a computer ****ing moaning
Parcel Man I really don't appreciate people calling me a liar. I had someone waiting in to sign for one of your deliveries (which incidentally is 5 days late already) but alas the driver is too stupid to ring the ****ing doorbell, thus no delivery!!!! So he leaves a card for the person waiting in to find. Bravo HDNL, another shining success to bolster your public image even higher into the halls of fame. What a shower of shite. I would rather drink a pint of my own week old diahhreoa than use HDNL again. Worst of all the driver even falsified the time at which he tried to deliver. To add insult to injury I had another delivery come today, This driver had enough cognitive ability to spot the doorbell and apply pressure to it, thus notifying the person indoors of their arrival (are you taking notes HDNL)and allowing them to sign for the parcel completing the delivery . Maybe i should set up a Course for simian delivery drivers and call it baboon delivery network. Can't be any worse can it. Responses From HDNL drivers welcomed I would like to gauge your intelligence levels from the number of expletives and mispellings in one sentences.
dickhead
what a clever thing to say
hdnl for ever i love my job shit pay shit boss loads of work what more do u want.
FAO- Pissed of Tor-
Why would this stupid driver have left a card but didnt ring the door-bell?! Maybe the person you had "waiting in to sign for one of your deliveries" couldnt be bothered to get off their fat-ass to answer the door!!
"I would rather drink a pint of my own week old diahhreoa than use HDNL again" If you do, post it on Youtube so we can see the diahhreoa going in instead of coming out!
"Worst of all the driver even falsified the time at which he tried to deliver" take a close look at the card! We are not obliged to put the time on our call cards, just the date!
Maybe you are not a liar! But you DO TALK SOME SHIT!!
wel iam a delivty drivar an i lik bananas so fk u lol
[add a new comment here]Hdnl drivers in my experience are hard working and try there best to get there prcls delivered which is not helped my hdnl customers telling there customers wrong days and times when to expect there prcls,Of All the employees that i have the pleasure of knowing there is only 1 or 2 that gives the depots bad names, again i will say the biggest majority of employees are hardworking caring people and a small majority of bad dealings with certain drivers does not make them all bad, so xxxx u
hdnl is a shit company run by money grabbing tossers who's only interest is profit,**** the customer!!driver morale is at an all time low. they now want us to deliver catalogues at 30% less than we were previously paid! where is the insentive to give a good service????
I kep ringing HDNL to offer my services for catalogue delivery to aid the van driver in my area, but they have no personal reps to interview me! Hello!
trying going around to the depot !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used to deliver to couriers and most of them had not got a clue. Out of 15 couriers 3 had to be sacked for thieving.
Also when you work it out most couriers were on far lower money than employed drivers after factoring in wear & tear + fuel.insurance stuff.
Unfortunately I am a manager at HDNL. I can honestly say that I have never worked for such a bunch of bigotted, aggressive, self opinionated - brain dead ****s in my life. They wouldn't know customer service skills if it bit them on the arse. They offer no staff training, career paths, investment or support. They just recruit bigger nob heads (usually from Parceline)to bully the staff out of a job. Believe me the first opportunity my colleagues and I get we are gone. If the drivers had any sense they would as well. As for the customers - your better off getting your parcels delivered by "Steptoe & Son"
spot on cooky (fatty) are you danny by any chance :)
aye they will be hoping you refuse to deliver them ,then theyve got the perfect excuse to give them all to couriers like there doing now , apart from the shit drops ofcourse that the courier doesnt want to do .
im glad i got my redundancy when i did , been watching it slide downhill for years
You sound like a ****, the company is probably glad your gone.
yeah im a **** mate ha ha you know fk all
im one of the gay drivers
are you from glasgow depot all a load of fags and lezzies at that one
No my name is barry Godber and i have had more than one driver up my back passage.
i BET THE CUSTOMER moaning has no door bell, or number displayed so the driver has to spend 30minutes to try and find the entrance. prick
[add a new comment here]Failed to deliver twice now the parcel has gone missing! Bet some **** has ****in nicked it.Hope they have insurance??????? ARSEHOLES.
you incompetant wanker why not make arrangements to have the parcel redilivered when you can bother to be in you only have to lift the phone dickheads like you make the job twice as hard total knobhead
i heard the doorbell ring this morning , by the time i had rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, had a shave , some coffee and a slice of toast the driver had gone !!!! pathetic company
thats why drivers get pissed off waiting. get a life and wake up moran !!!!!
its moron !!!!!! lol
[add a new comment here]ooooohhhhhhhh luter chase me

WELL SAID AND JUST ONE MORE THING WHILE YOUR AT THE SHOP BUY A FRIGIN NUMBER AND PUT IT ON YOUR FCUKIN DOOR SO ITS VISABLE FROM THE ROAD
great point scatman the number of times i drive up and down a road looking for a house name and when you do find it its hidden behind a tree we only have so much time in a day but asshole customers just think you are delivering to them give a bit of praise we are out in all weathers and in general give a first class service to customers
cud not agree more , if i wer prime minister i,d make it compulsory to have a number or name distinctly placed everywhere and if not there should be a fixed penalty fine . who the sweet fanny do these people think they are ,seems to me the more money they have the more insular and ignorant they become .total fu''ing wind up , and the worst thing is when they ask you ;did you find it alright; and all you want to do is swear at them and say next time u want wine go to the fikkin offi like real people do you kokend
good point hdnl ,do you work in a indian call centre by any chance ?
[add a new comment here]worst company i have ever worked for expect 55 hours work for 39 hours pay. bonus scheme sucks. customers deserve a far better service I found most customers willing to put up with this poor service quite surprising really you all deserve a medal. I have now been sacked since raising issues surrounding poor service, damaged goods, wrong goods all of which refelect in bonus when you the customer rightly refuse to accept delivery + excessive hours etc no name supplied as still waiting payments due
yeah your spot on , your better off out of it mate , ive never looked back since leaving and i wouldnt go back if my life depended on it
Well snuff it then you bell end!!
In fact you are all total bells for arguing over complete shite now shut the **** up the lot of yer!! heh heh
PS..
Luter and mfp are a pair of bum busting gaylords.
just come out of the closet jeff we all know your gay anyway so why torture yourself xxxxx
**** off cock breath
juhiu
I work for HDNL and if you think its the drivers fault you dont get youre parcel youre more stupid than you look, we lose £15 for every package we dont deliver so if any of you morons arnt in or are still in bed or cancel items the day before they are due to be delivered then we lose the money, so you really think we dont want to bring your goods it is the worst thing for us when we cant deliver we need to deliver 100Percent of items to get paid a decent wage remember that next time you bugger off to the shop or take the kids to school when we are due to deliver, also we deliver from 7am up to 6pm not 9-5 you arse we start at the depot at 5am please think about this when next you need to moan
you sure ? we didnt get paid for undelivereds when it was business express but when it joined up with reality we started getting paid for undeliverded unless its changed since i was there
I've had two experiances with them now. The first for collection: for 2 whole weeks they never came to collect.
The second: A BT delivery, LOST!
I understand these things happen and I'm cool about that. What annoys me is that customer serivce sound all nice but don't do anything. For my lost package it says delviered, when I spoke to the depot manager he tells me the driver didnt pick it up from the depot as it was lost at the depot.
My view is the firm needs to look at its internal communication channels a bit better.
Actually, in order to look at said channels, they'd have to exist in the first place. :) They can't even SPELL "communicate", let alone define it.
And yes, I do work for them. I wish to God I didn't, but I can't afford to leave. :(
you lot make me wana puke i know its hard work yr all whinin pussys get on wi it n keep yer nose clean mardybums wipe my arse wi lot o u
I think the driver has had it off there Simon.
The same happened to me a few months back with a digital camera.
I have a friend who has been a delivery driver for years and he says the drivers are at it left right and slap.
By the way, mfp gives it to fjc wheelbarrow style!
lol mfp and fjc are the same person " KNOB "
Why the b-jeesus would we want to nick that crap anyway. Don't you know it's all cheap shit we deliver...
Who the **** do all you winging gits think you are I get up each morning at 3am and travel up to Newcastle to get there for 8am to stop the jordy ****s for winging I have never missed a single delivery or collection in the last 3 years I work my arse of for these arogant pricks and get

Prob seems like they are the same person as they are stuck up eachother so often... Bellboy
go fk off back to rainbow ..jeffferrry or the mental institute your on day release from
They failed to deliver, failed to leave a calling card, said they'd sent the parcel back to Holland and guess what? The driver has since 'left' the company and the parcel has failed to turn up in Holland. Dutch Post subs the work out to TNT who sub it out to TNT POST who sub it out to HDNL. I'm not surprised the service is so bad and the wages so poor. I think I can kiss goodbye to my $600 package.
$600 THATS A LOT OF MUCKY BOOKS & DVDS NO WONDER THE DRIVER ****ED OFF WITH YOUR STASH YOU WILL HAVE TO WANK OVER THE SUNDAY SPORT IT WORKS 4 ME
****in drug dealer by the sounds of it i think the driver did you a fovour bet you are a stinking student as well
when you are delivering 100 thousand parcels a day suppose you are gonna make a few mistakes !! but its the inconsiderate fannies you deliver to that make the couriers job harder1!! if you order a parcel to be delivered BE IN YIR HOOSE or leave instructions then you all would not get ****ed off
[add a new comment here]fkn love these moaning pricks , the majority of people understand but these arseholes think they have a god given right to get their shit on the day and time they want it !!! yeah sure ..wake up and smell the coffee it aint fkn disneyland
[add a new comment here]you moaning ****ing idiots.. you seem to think that the only parcel we have to deliver all day is yours.. i wish it bloody was..dont order the shit if you aint gonna be home. and if you are home try saying thankyou once in a while it wont bloody kill you.. and there right luter you are a spunk monkey..!!!!!
[add a new comment here]What the **** are you all moaning about... We have the number one management company in the south!!! Those PDM'S (Brute Pushers) do an absolute sterling job because every one of them is an ex multi-drop driver!!! As they keep telling the Agency Drivers...
[add a new comment here]Woah, obviously a touchy subject considering all these comments! I might have to go prune a few of the more "interesting" ones :)
Anyway, dabs.com are now using HDNL, which is a real shame as they've always used City Link before, who always did a good job. I emailed dabs.com customer service asking about HDNL, but they totally ignored me :(
Shity link you are having a laugh you ****ing moron when a parcel comes into the depot it is delivered next day all dabs parcels are sign for items and the customer knows that it is being delivered that day lets get our facts right before we slag anyone off dick wad
Thanks for that Jambo. Glad you're full of Christmas cheer and all that :)
think you better get your secateurs out ha
[add a new comment here]WHY NOT JOIN US IN A WALKOUT ON MONDAY 12/11.AT BEEHIVE.SINCE WHEN DID THEY REALY EXPECT US TO WORK 11-12 HOURS A DAY WHEN IT SHOULD BE 9.20 PLUS 40 DEPOT TIME GIVING A TOTAL OF,YES 10 HOURS NOT 11,12 12.45 13.
[add a new comment here]Listen guys, stop the abuse and be respectful with people who have encoiuntered a problem with hdnl. Drivers have signed in my name twice and littlwoods and additions direct had to reimburse me. I have been ordering online for years and this only happened once a few years ago with another company and the police got involved. I am currently involving the police because signing in my name is forgery. This scam has to stop and unless people stop encouraging that kind of behaviour, this will carry on.
[add a new comment here]some of you pricks think you have a delivery driver each, i dont have 50minutes to look for a address, ring 10 buzzers to find the flat i want, help yourself a bit and i will bother you you.......****s
some **** today was sitting there refusing to answer the door while i knocked 3 times, by the time he came to the door I ****ed off and wheel spinned all ove rhis lovely green lawn. that will rteach him
Why am I not surprised that HDNL are having so many complaints about them. Just a quick read through this page and you can tell exactly the sort of people they are employing. If you don't want to deliver parcels for a living, then it might be a good idea to get another job. I'm sure with your languages skills you could go far ;)
yep good old proper ****ing ENGLISH
****in turds
I have , i now work alongside stephen william hawking's , we are busy researching into black holes , such as your brain , and also quantum physics , did you know the universe started with a big bang !!!! to your door by a hdnl driver . lol .

Yes, but you're PDD (for the uninitiated - you lucky b***ards - that's Parcel Direct Dispatch), not HDD (Heavy Direct Dispatch, i.e. electrical goods, flatpack, suites and the like). What's your heaviest parcel, 25kg? Try handling 70, 80, 90 or even 100kg in a single item. Then multiply that by two or three hundred per day, and you get an idea of what it's like to work HDD in the warehouse. You lot don't know you're born.
tart
eat shit and die, you ****ers are the laziest in the company
blughh
Yes we are not the best but our business is not quality not volume.....we have to deliver 160plus parcels to earn money and please our bosses. so if your parcel is found dumped on your door step so be it.
[add a new comment here]ITS DICKS LIKE U WHO THINK UR SO SUPERIOR AS TO ORDER A PARCEL BUT ARE NEVER IN THEN MOAN AS TO HOW U CAN RECIEVE IT. WELL LET ME THINK ERMMM DNT FUKING ORDER OFF THE NET IF UR NEVER IN. THEN YOU MOAN AT THE DRIVERS IF THEY LEAVE YOUR PRCL SUMWERE OR WITH N/BOURS. SO DNT MOAN WHEN THE EW POSTCODE U GIVE ISNT IN THE SAME DEPOT AREA COS THATS UR OWN FRIGGIN FAULT STOP BEING SUCH LAZY STUCK UP FUKERS N GO TO THE SHOP BET ALL YOU DO IS COMFORT EAT U FAT LAZY IDIOTS.
[add a new comment here]It's amazing how angry some of you are. Have a very Merry Christmas and try not to work too hard.
You don't work at the beehive, do you? I can tell. not working too hard isn't an option for us; the harder we work, they harder they expect us to work. It's a 21st Century company being run according to 19th Century principles. They didn't even know about the Working Time Directive until we, the warehouse staff, told them. We get the general impression that they'd like us to work 24/7, and never mind little things like eating, sleeping, crapping or looking after the kids. No, those things don't matter to them. NOTHING matters to them except the job. Believe.
I have had previous experiences with this appauling company. I have absolutely no problem with the driver leaving a card but when i do stay in, TWICE, when the delivery is supposedly turning i do get annoyed. When i check on the status of my delivery using the tracking tool and they say a card has been left when it hasnt; this is alo bound to annoy! (I do not have any problems with the drivers, they probaly do a good job, but when a company like this has so little regard for its customers, that is when i get angry!)
instead of gettin angry get off your arse answer the door sign your name take your package all happy if not wait for next delivery slot an if that fails pick up the package your friggin self. moaning tossa bet you dont even have a number on your door or have you given your house a stupid friggin name like DUNMOANING
i am new to hdnl but the responce i have had is brill. my driver is always on time, polite and most important clean and tidy and gorgeous. GO HDNL.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Used to have parcelnet what a shit company but give it to me hdnl boys anytime .............
well said sal hdnl boys are the best
My god!
yes what do you want
lol n1
Just ordered a package with them through amazon. My expirence so far..
I ordered on the 4th, and they left a message yesterday(the 5th) saying they have my order, and it will be sent out tomorrow (which is today) between 11:30am & 3:30pm. They asked my to call IF this time is not going to work. I thought i'd call to confirm, but couldn't as the number he gave was barly audiable. The guy spoke very rushfully,(is that a word) and muttered.
My tracking looks like this so far
AMAZON:
Dec 05, 2007 05:31:36 PM EDMONTON 2M HUB UK Out for delivery
Dec 04, 2007 11:09:25 PM EDMONTON 2M HUB UK Arrival Scan
Dec 03, 2007 12:00:00 AM WEB CUSTOMER UK Carrier notified to pick up package
HDNL Site:
04/12/2007 23:09:25 Edmonton 2-Man Delivery Hub Received
05/12/2007 06:30:06 Edmonton 2-Man Delivery Hub Unable to Deliver Held
05/12/2007 17:31:36 Edmonton 2-Man Delivery Hub Loaded onto vehicle
No idea what the 'Held' part is about, but i'm going to let these errors slip for now, and see what happens in a few hours...
The 'Held' bit is probably due to the fact that everything for Amazon is labelled as an "Amazon Parcel" - so the van loaders never know exactly what's been ordered when they look on the loading manifest. It might be a TV, exercise equipment, DVD player, bicycle - we just don't know. You might order a treadmill and receive a TV; occasionally someone realises this and stops the delivery before the wrong goods can be sent - that's my best guess as to what's happened to your package i.e. they're holding it until they find the right item.
I have no idea why this should be. Why they can't describe a TV *as* a TV, or a treadmill *as* a treadmill, I honestly don't know. We've asked the managers, and they don't know either.
The trouble with most customers is that they think they are the only person the driver has to deliver to all day and that he can be in an area at any time of the day when the reality is that a driver may have over 100 calls to make in a day delivering up to 200 parcels over a large area starting work at 5;30 in the morning delivering to ungrateful moaning bastards who are never home but think its reasonable to have a parcel delivered at 8 0 clock at night after the driver has already worked 11 hours in the pissing rain trying to get replys at doors and having to listen to nighbours telling them "no way am I taking a parcel in for that stuck up ****" having to contend with heavy traffic, working 6-7 days a week because of the ever increasing workload and then having to answer petty complaints because the customer cannot find the parcel that was left secure in the shed and is now claiming for a replacement. WOULD YOU EXPECT THE POST MAN TO DELIVER WHEN YOU SAY, OR CURRYS TO DELIVER AT 7.33PM BECAUSE THATS THE TIME YOU GET HOME OR A MECHANIC,PLUMBER,ELECTRICIAN TO CALL AT YOUR HOME ADDRESS AT A TIME THAT SUITS YOU. I am a driver team manager at HDNL and will always support and side with the driver because I know what they have to deal with every day. IF YOU DONT LIKE IT GET OFF YOUR ARSE, JUMP IN THE CAR AND GO TO A SHOPPING CENTRE - THEY ARE OPEN UNTIL 8 0 CLOCK AT NIGHT
at last the truth so all you lazy fat idle stuck up ****s like the man said if your not happy with our service tottle off to the shops an get your goods your self then carry them from your car to your front door (mind the dog shite that you aint bothered too clean up) then once inside ****in DIE moaning cock suckin shirt liftin piss drinkin ****s
ITS OK FOR DTM WHO IS A SO CALLED DRIVER TEAM MANAGER BET HE DON'T GET HIS PARCELS DELIVERED BY HDNL OR HE WOULD REALISE WHY CUSTOMERS ARE MOANING.I MY SELF AM UP AT 5:30 IN THE MORNING AND DON'T GET BACK HOME TILL 7:20 OR 8:30 AT NIGHT MONDAY TO FRIDAY AND AM UP EVEN EARLIER ON SAT AND SUN SO WHAT TIME DO I GET TO GO NEARLY 10 MILES TO MY LOCAL SHOPPING CENTRE
WELL SAID MATE !!!!!!
fukin bang on the money 'i have to deliver to 1 certain ponce i mean doctor who gets paid shit loads whom lives on a nice poncy estate hes never in but has a garage which i could and would gladly place his parcel inside but the ignoramus must think he is the centre of the universe .this makes me slightly annoyed to say the least .some people are so far up their on arses . even the neighbours get fed up with them and often say to me im only taking it in to make your life easier .I HATE SNOBBY IGNORANT PEOPLE . most of them are just overgrown schoolboys anyway ,but there still tw..s
Don't like delivering parcels?
Don't like getting up early and working a full day?
Don't like the driving in heavy traffic?
Don't like the fact that it sometimes rains?
It sounds like some of your "team" should really think about a career change.
:)
Sounds like youve got nothing better to do than talk a load of shite
Sounds like I've touched a raw nerve there. Stay happy :)
shut it , and have a nice xmas , it maybe my girlfriends last , think yourselves lucky .
[add a new comment here]I just ordered some fpur books from amazon using amazon prime who sent them on two batches. batch one arrived the next day by royal mail van. batch have been with hdnl since 8pm 13 dec - hdnl have lied about attempting to deliver and say on the tracking that it is carded. Amazon should realise like it isnt cost effective to use a cheap as chips carrier if it loses them customers. I will cancel all future orders if it is shipped by hdnl. Come on Amazon use you muscle to shake hdnl into action or else kick them into touch.
Ooh, thanks for your comment. I didn't know Amazon still used HDNL for Amazon Prime customers... kinda puts me off the service even more.
Things are looking on the up though, considering how active HDNL's 'Customer Relations' Department is in this thread and others of its ilk! ;~p
[add a new comment here]Oh bugger...M & S use HDNL... good job her indoors is!
Did arrive... phew... but driver just abandoned at front door despite her indoors being in the house... he did not knock.
If HDNL drivers are so good how come they cant find my house when I have a house number, street name and a postcode. I know why, coz they're lazy useless ****ing idiots. If you cant stand doing a job because people are not at home and the money is crap go find another job and quit moaning about it. We have to go to work ourselves to earn money to buy things so you can deliver them. It's not our problem if the company we order from chooses to use a micky mouse outfit to deliver our stuff.
you ****ing arrogant dickhead i bet you sit at a desk all day just taking the odd break to go and pull your knob try standing at someones door for 10 mins whilst the dozy **** tries to find the door key oh and by the way its pissing down we do the job because we are pros and do give a good service i might come in your office and complain about the state of your overflowing out tray one day you wank shaft its easy isnt it we can all do it
When we had a deliery due on friday, (we didn't check when it was being deliered) we were out. but they came back on Sunday, yes, sunday! and deliered our stuff. friendly driver... so in my opinion, the company are fine...
And it's true - that most people will only complain, never complement companies.
Also, why are you all attacking each other, swearing and stuff? is it really nessasary? seriously, you need to calm down...
After reading this blog I thought I'd got no chance of a pre Christmas delivery.
Amazon order, 2 books, 1 game, all in stock, paid for despatched. Tracking my order.... estimated delivery 19 Dec, all good. Check on the 19th, its at the Droitwich depot (cool), check again later.. its out (excellent), check at 5.30 its now at the Lemington Depot (not so good), check next morning.. and overnight its now at Oldbury deport (getting closer). Check again...its out for delivery, wahoo, arrives just before 4. OK so it was a day late and there's no contact details on their webshite and the tracking on the hdnl is WAY behind the Amazon tracking details, but who cares, I've got me parcel, sorted :)
Ordered mine on the 7th dispatched on the 9th, due arrive on the 12th, phonned up the depot and Customer Servies every day since the 15th, they've only just told me that they left it on my front door on the 15th...this is a ****ing lie, someone was in all my house all day and on top of that on Monday the Customer Services said it had been lost and re-found at the depot and would be sent out. Now i've had to re-order my products from Amazon (free of charge thankfuly, were very helpful)and i'm just praying that it's not HDNL again. I have it down for Express Delivery and is due to arrive on Christmas Eve but I just know it's not going to happen. Thanks a ****ing lot HDNL.
[add a new comment here]Absolutely USELESS this company is a F**KING Joke. 2 days late, don't give a flying F**K. I would pay double to get a DHL,TNT,FEDEX on the case, the problem is you don't know who's delivering the parcel until its too late. Then you find out it HDNL do a google and look what turns up a screen load of complaints..and guess what you're next in the queue
[add a new comment here]If you want to complain direct to HDNL their customer services number is 0870 1545400.
I did - supposedly a depot manager is going to phone me back. We shall see.
don't hold your breath is all I'll say
do hold your breath i say after you have pulled your foreskin over your head
HDNL are great .... at having no idea what is going on ! Friend posts parcel in Holland goes through their postal system no problem. Then in the UK finds itself in the HDNL network. 2 cards through my door as I'm at work and 2 long calls to their "customer services" department and they tell me I don't have a parcel ! well the delivery guys think I do. After 2 failed returned calls I visit the depot and find that the "normal post" they deliver isn't on the HDN system it just gets deliveried to the correct city and they sort it in the depot so is only on the local system but they need the reference on the card .. Oh! there isn't one. They were mid-sort and all parcels will be deliveried on Saturday I was told and I believed them. Now Saturday night and no sign of parcel or promised phone calls.
It would help the "customer" if the delivery guys spent the extra 5 seconds to write the parcel number on the card so the guys/gals in the office had a fighting chance of helping the customer. Well I guess I'll be visiting the depot first thing on Monday or I guess I'm going to have to explain why Santa didn't visit.
Oh and for those interested John Lewis also use HDNL.
JOHN LEWIS M&S TESCO DIRECT ARGOS AMAZON BT VIRGIN WINE TO MENTION A FEW SO US LAZY ****S (THE DRIVERS)MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT WE HAVENT GOT 20 MINS TO STAND AT YOUR DOOR COS YOU CAN'T GET YOUR FAT ARSE OUT OF THE CHAIR COS YOUR TO BUSY ORDERING CRAP OFF BID UP TV BY THE WAY YES WE DELIVER FOR THEM AS WELL
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND THINK OF ALL US HDNL DRIVERS TRYING TO DELIVER ALL YOUR CRAP ON CHRISTMAS EVE WHEN YOUR IN THE PUB
well you'll have one less parcel as my john lewis order was cancelled as soon as I found out HDN were the "delivery" company and went down the shops which took less time than holding on the phone to HNDN
well done on raising your fat arse finger and cancelling your order think of all the calories you burnt off dragging you stinking carcass down to your local John Lewis store do you think all these major blue chip companies have all got it so wrong
The amount of complaints avout HDNL on the internet I suspect you are also doing a lot wrong!
So what is big companies use you, probably just shows they don't care about anything other than price! Getting HDNL as your delivery company seems to be the equivalent of offshoring your customer services to these big companies.
lets get our facts in order the amount of complaints are minute compared to the amount of deliveries carried out by hdnl of which most customers are highly delighted with i accept that you always get a few bad apples within any company
MISSING YOUR CUSTOM ALREADY YA MOANING ****!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS XXXX
My house is called Clitoris NO BASTARD CAN FIND IT.
A DICK IN A **** MMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!
this company is ****en shit, i was at home last week friday and no 1 came to deliver my goods but the ****s claim that their driver came and was told i moved, so eitheir the company is shit in whole or their drivers dnt give a flying **** about thier jobs, lying little ****ers
[add a new comment here]Its the ones that leave the note on the door "delivey driver can leave my parcel at mrs assface 12 nob rd which off course is 10 miles north of cambodia then when you get there she aint ****in in.. You lot who sit on yir arses ordering shit off bid up need to get a life you just dont dont have a scoobie what we have to put up with ...you think its an easy job well give it a go for a week then you will definatley change your attitude
[add a new comment here]BT use them too. what a mistake. i have been waiting for a delivery for 3 weeks now. so far i have rung the depote no less than 15 times, twice i have been told i will be called back. i did get a delivery after 2 weeks that was signed for by a family member. when i opened it it was for someone else. i peeled back a lable that showed it was s'posed to be delivered over 20 miles away. the fight goes on and i believe i will never see my parcel
[add a new comment here]Having been in several times when HDNL claim to have called finally I am told the parcel has been lost. How such a large heavy parcel can co "missing" I would like to know.
Nice christmas present for someone?
Parcel still not here - check this for a lie:
Dec 31, 2007 09:57:52 PM MAIDSTONE VAN UK Delivery attempted
Who delivers at almost 10pm on New Years Eve?? Oh and I was in too new card no call at the door
this means they have arrived back at the depot u cock
Well, ive been awaiting 3 weeks them to a) ring me within 48 hours as specified and b) for them to even collect my parcel from Amazon (which does have the item in stock and shows that HDNL has been informed.
How on earth can a company operate like this?
Darren you seem to have the patience of a saint i can only offer my sincere apoligies for your unjustified wait and incompetece on the side of hdnl it would appear that some depots work better than others and you seem to have hit upon a bad one in my experiance hdnl have always offered a excellent service perhaps you could contact the area manager and they in turn could give your local depot manager a kick up the arse
After reading all these comments, im really crossing my fingers and toes now hoping I get my delivery. :S
[add a new comment here]HDNL are the worst company ever. After failing to deliver when arranged, they now claim to have attempted a failed delivery the day after, when i was home! Liars, after reading about them online i dont think ill ever get my package.
Are you the ****er who said he was is when i left a card and didnt knock think about it spunk breath why would i leave a card but not knock your door.
Can sum1 explain what "unable to deliver" - "Reason: Held" means. Thanks
HDNL hold the parcel for so many days until you call to reschedule before sending it back
I am waiting for a delivery from hdnl, after reading some of the comments by drivers, and staff i am dusgusted. I couldn't give a flying **** how many hours you have to work, or for what rates. You choose to work for this pos company. Live with it and do your jobs properly instead of being lazy ****s. Do you think its 1 or 2 people complaining??? NO it ****ing isn't. Type in to google Home delivery network complaints. Its not 1 or 2 its thousands. This company is an absolute joke.
I will not be using any company that uses HDN in the future. If things carry on the way they are going hdn will loose a lot of contracts, and you wont have to worry about beeing over worked and underpayed. With any luck hdn will go down the pan.
i think u should type in the other delivery companys n then comment u no sweet **** all ha !!
YOU SEEM LIKE LIKE A NICE PERSON YOU ****. I HOPE YOU A SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH DICKHEAD!!
Its interesting to see all the so-called HDNL employees slagging people off for not being at home or not addressing things properly.
Well, here is my 2pence worth.
I placed order from Dabs on 27th December, despatched with Home Delivery Networks on 28th - NEXT DAY Delivery.
It is now 7th January, allowing for Xmas and New Year there have still been 6 working days. No delivery. No card.
I have complained to Dabs; Dabs have contacted HDNL who claim to have attempted delivery and carded me on 2nd and 4th Jan. A complete lie - I was at home on both days and there was no card either.
Now when HDNL make their third (phantom) "delivery", it will fail because now I am back at work.
So my item will be returned to Dabs, 2 weeks later undelivered.
I'm getting abit worried now myself after reading all these comments. I've ordered a HDTV off amazon last week on thursday night, I thought a delivery might have came today (thinking I had missed it, and wasnt carded) because Ive got this in my tracking info:
07/01/2008 07:17:14 Blackpole 2-Man Delivery Hub Received
07/01/2008 10:46:50 Blackpole 2-Man Delivery Hub Unable to Deliver Held (two-man delivery)
07/01/2008 13:55:44 Blackpole 2-Man Delivery Hub Unable to Deliver Held
Can anyone explain it better to me ? I dont get the unable to delivery thing, blackpole is probably about 3 hours away from me, my nearest depot is HITCHEN, HERTS, so would my tracking definately say whens its at hitchen, even though its a "two man delivery".
Anyways, earlier I had a call from amazon, saying my delivery is gonna be here on wed morning between 7am and 10:45am. (Gonna have to stay off college for that). This home call thing is stated on amazon, so I shall wait and see, watch the tracking too, maybe it will come 2moro, even better.
I havent had any trouble with hdnl before when I ordered a printer, it came ok , I was carded and it was handed to my neighbour, so that was ok.
Lets hope it stays that way...
Just wait and see now, I will report back here if anyone would be interested in how it goes ?
Just hope it comes wednesday ! like the amazon lady have said !
Well update from me,
Supposedly my HDTV should have been delivered today as stated by amazon. Just checked HDNL and now saying " 07/01/2008 15:29:56 Beehive 2-Man Delivery Hub Loaded onto vehicle " . Im guessing it will arive tommorrow.
Just a question for any HDNL delivery staff out there....... What times do you deliver to as the website doesnt state anything about you delivery times.
If you order parcel today- you might get it before 6pm by end of the century- good luck!
Oh no, just seen the shipping info for my Amazon.com order. HDNL are being used so I won't hold my breath.
Come on HDNL, prove all the moaners wrong!!
i agree they are a useless bunch of c unts. if they were dogs they be SHOT
HDNL must be the worst courier company in the world with incompetent people on the phones and a very sub standard tracking system. The person I spoke to told me that the tracking information is hidden on the screen cos its confidential!
Can't understand why companises like Marks and Spencer use a delivery service like HDNL. Amazing their drivers can find their vans in the morning cos can't find parcels.
you no why cos 99.5% of our prcls r delievered that why we have big contracts like BT, John lewis, tesco, argos, to name just a few so will u lot stop moaning ur part of the 0.5% if u look at other delivery sites i think u will find a few more complaints than this, thank u very much
Well other companies certainly provide far better tracking information. These big companies use HDNL cos its far cheaper than Royal Mail or Parcelforce etc. But.....cheaper doesn't mean better!
Well got my HDTV at 1pm today. Although they were a day late, the driver did ring up earlier to comfirm that they will arrive in 15 mins, which was a suprise. All is well with my HDTV so thankyou HDNL.
MOAN MOAN MOAN ****IN MOAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[add a new comment here]Well, tracking said my parcel was at the Morley depot so I gave them a quick call. The very helpful woman on the phone kindly dug my parcel out of the delivery so I can collect it tonight.
See, us customers are not all lazy sods who won't get off their arse for a delivery!! Saves the driver knocking when there will be nobody in.
Oh no! I wanted to track something on the HDNL website, and when doing a search for HDNL on Google, this page has dropped down to the 3rd place link :(
As for the delivery, Amazon had order ready on the 6th for a estimated 9th delivery (today), and it's still in the HDNL depot :(
HDNL as a company is useless, period. Here is a case for you, delivery address is Office building with manned security desk and open 24/7, very old building (well known post code), easy to find location plus easy parking. HDNL tracking system states "Customer refused delivery!!!", actually driver never turned up, We can prove it, as we have CCTV video of the alleged time of delivery.
Amazon are sending a replacement item, I hope the driver shows up for real this time.
Having said that, I certainly don't mean all drivers of HDNL are the same, and there must be some decent guys out there doing their job as required.
Okay, yesterday the replacement item from amazone was on the van out for delivery, never showed up, then was returned back to Depot. I guess the van was overloaded!!, today the item is out for delivery again, still not in, don't know what will we get by the end of the day. Surely will cancel the order if it doesn't get delivered today, amazone will loose our business for their choice of couriers.
Hooorrrraaaay, at last, just received the package. Thank you HDNL driver.
I would consider letting Amazon know how you feel, otherwise nothing will change...
We`re shit but ****ing cheap. Think about that when you order from M+S, Amazon, John Lewis and the like, they care **** all about you, they just take your money and pay the cheapest delivery firm there is. I`ts called business.
You should see the mongs that work for HDNL,scary! And that`s just the managers.
I suspect I know who posted this one...and he's right about the staff. You know Sturgeon's Law ("90% of everything is crap")? Well, that applies to politicians, the Internet and HDNL staff. I should know; I work at the Beehive, too. Some of those zombies - I swear, they're not fit to be let out unsupervised. Judging by the way they do their jobs, some of them seem so thick it's a wonder they can even find their way to work.
Regarding the comments about tracking - they did have a decent system, but that was before the merger with Littlewoods, who had a different (crappy) system. They had a choice: bigger or better. They chose bigger...go figure. Tessa Jowell sold the home delivery market down the river when she allowed the merger between Reality (or White Arrow, or Argos Retail Group, or whatever - I've worked for 6 different companies in 8 years and not had to move a bloody inch!) and Littlewoods - if owning more than 70% of the market, as HDNL now do, isn't a monopoly, I'd like to know what the hell is. But they threatened thousands of redundancies, so she bottled out and allowed it.
But the drivers have NO right to complain. None. Not on the money they're on. They get more bonus in a DAY than the warehouse staff do in a WEEK. I'm not kidding.
The driver & mate might have to handle, at most, 100 items on a single delivery route, and their bonus is always in 3 figures - in fact it's more than the basic pay. The warehouse staff handle 2, 3 or even 5x that many per day, EACH - and our bonus is capped at less than £40 p.w. We CANNOT earn more than that no matter how much work we do. What the hell?
And for some years now, they've been trying to get us to accept a change in working hours from 39 to 40. They won't tell us why, so we tell 'em to go f*** themselves with something pointy. We already have the longest working hours and shortest holidays in Europe, yet these idiots want to INcrease our working hours?!
And don't get me started on the managers. Dear God, don't do that. Believe me, folks, you have no idea what we go through in that warehouse; if Channel 4 tried making a documentary about it, the bosses would complain that we'd sent them a sitcom. It's that crazy. Morale is so low in the warehouse it's heading in the general direction of the Earth's core. There are numerous health & safety violations we're just forced to put up with - we complain, but nothing ever gets done. Equipment - lifts especially - never see a maintenance engineer unless and until they break down. The last pay rise we had (which we didn't even get for nearly a year) was below inflation, so we were actually left WORSE off.
Yes, HDNL suck ass. But we have bills to pay, so we're stuck with it. "Putting the customer first"? Cobblers. All they care about is the money. They certainly don't care about the warehouse staff. They don't even mention the Beehive in the company magazines...even though nearly a third of their business goes through our site.
Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention: the Beehive is an HDD (Heavy Direct Dispatch) site, i.e. flatpack, suites, electrical goods etc., rather than PDD (Parcel Direct Dispatch). The PDD drivers are a completely different breed from HDD...probably better, yet worse-paid.
Thanks for your insightful comments.
Would just like to say that my order was picked up yesterday by HDNL from dabs.com, and was waiting for me at my neighbours house! Fantastic service...I spoke to the lady at my local depot yesterday, and she was most helpful! All companies have bad days and maybe the people on here have had a bad experience. It doesn't mean thw whole company is bad! Thankyou HDNL
fantastic someone who is happy for a change see all you moaners sometimes in my experiance we do care about giving the customer a good service and do go out of our way to try and deliver your parcels to you on time why take them back and get roasted off a manager for overstepping the permissable level of brought backs, we only have to load and try to deliver again the next day. any company is only as good as its manpower and i can honestly say that our depot does indeed offer customer first service
>get roasted off a manager for overstepping the permissable level of brought backs
So if you're not going to make quota (for whatever reason), what happens - do you just dump the parcels? I mean, it actually looks like that - you go back and say you've delivered them, but they're actually in a skip somewhere.
We *are* entitled to get our stuff. We're the customers. If you say you're going to deliver on such and such a time, and we're there - why don't the parcels arrive? Maybe you're stuck in traffic, whatever - dump (or just take) the parcels and back to the depot and then you miss the bollocking.
The drivers who commented up-thread seem to be exactly the kind of people who'd do that, and they'll probably come back from the pub, see this and prove it again.
It's not as if the people who are complaining here have only just started ordering stuff. We've been getting and missing parcels for years, and it's not usually been that much of a hassle, even if we have to go to the collection office. With HDNL - when it goes wrong, when you're not in a semi-detached house with a driveway and a big sign saying "Deliver it here' in front, the kind of place that lots of people who are just trying to buy stuff actually live in - you kind of begin to wonder whether you're actually going to get it at all. I mean that's surreal.
One good thing is that if you know a company is using HDNL, then it's a sign that they're cutting corners using sub-standard components and sub-contractors all over, and are best avoided.
In5ane.com should be called inane.com judging by the comments on here, but I do agree with the general gist of what you're trying to say about HDNL. I've been helping out a friend waiting for her BT HomeHub to be delivered. We've discovered that BT put the wrong flat no on the parcel (not her as has been suggested by some of you silly bloggers-whoever addresses their own parcels?) and although she was given a number to phone by BT, HDNL wouldnt change it because she wasnt the sender, which makes sense because she could have been trying to intercept someone else's post. In trying to help her I was really surprised that in the 21st century a firm that professes to put the customer first hasn't got contact detailson it's website, stating that it's o the card left, but if no card has been left, what then? We were going backwards and forwards between HDNL and BT for a week before BT finally agreed to 'contact the right dept' and I still dont know if he package has been delivered. I agree it is worrying that large companies use HDNL for their deliveries because so many people use online shopping and you dont necessarily get told a delivery date to be able to arrange to accept delivery. Royal Mail ARE more reliable, at least you know when they're likely to come and that they leave a card so you can rearrange delivery, or even collect yourself. And yes, they do go on strike, but when you think about it it's not even every year so small price to pay for such a cheap service.
dear bob wilkins you are little bit lacking in understanding how the system works so here we go we scan a parcel onto the van and when we arrive at your door we scan it again whereupon you sign for it if you are in if not we try your neighbour who in turn signs for it failing this we look for a safe place to leave your parcel and then record onto our scanner where the parcel was left this is called track and trace it does not however give the driver the option to dump it in a skip lets try to give a bit of understanding before we slag the driver off and lets not comment on something we know nothing about or are you an expert on everything
Worst courier company I've experienced. I've had clothes thrown over the wall and left in the garden in the rain for days (no card), packages left on the street (our door is right on the pavement) and others just sat in their depots for 5 days on a next day service. I've never had a card or a phone number from them.
Sadly Marks and Spencer use them too. If I had known I wouldn't have placed my recent order. M&S have now given me over £30 in credit vouchers as an apology for the delays, if they carry on like this HDNL won't keep these big contracts long.
At least Amazon give the option to pay for Royal Mail delivery. Just don't be tight fisted and go for Free super saver - you get what you pay for (NOTHING!!!)
I was going to try and be nice about my HDNL delivery, but their processes stink. I wasn't told when my parcel would arrive (so no, I'm not going to book a week off work just in case) so when they tried to deliver I got a note through the door. Rang them up to collect from the depot, they were utterly disinterested in me collecting it (or even talking to me), they kept saying 'But we'll redeliver tomorrow'. I pointed out that I wouldn't be in the next day, and that they could just leave it in the depot for me to pick up, eventually they agreed. Rang up the next day to ask when I could collect it, and was told it'd been put back on a van, even though *I told them* I wouldn't/couldn't be in. And of course they have no way to contact the driver once he's out, to tell him not to bother. So my parcel ends up a day late because it's been for a scenic drive and cost a driver because he couldn't deliver it - top notch service.
So before you drivers get on your high horse about customers not being in for delivery again, I TOLD THEM that I wouldn't be in, and they made some poor sap drag it to my house anyway. THEY're doing this to you, not us.
drivers have on average 150-200 deliveries a day to do and this prick expects a phone call to tell him his parcel is on its way and will be delivered at 10.21 precisely get real you dickhead if you want to collect from a depot why dont you just buy from the store in the first place or are you just to busy sat at your pc slagging off every company that you have ever dealt with you sad bastard
Please, please, please, someone from the NW complain their HDNL delivery of a big item didnt arrive today! 17/01/2008
I don`t think the customer careline will tell you why, check the `Bolton News ` website.

wHaT's A cRaPs LoCk pEtEr PeRv oR pEtEr PrIcK
[add a new comment here]You guys are so easy to wind up - keep smiling and don't work too hard :)
[add a new comment here]recently ordered from amazon, estimated date of delivery was 1st feb, 2 days before customer service from amazon called up and confrmed address and delivery. on the 1st, the guys from hdnl called up and confirmed address, got my item on time with no worries at all. i regularly buy from amazon and I personally never had a problem with hdnl so far.....
[add a new comment here]Why not address it to your work address? Its what I do and I never have any problems with hdnl...
[add a new comment here]have tried and tried to find something good to write about HDNL, but so far nothing comes to mind. I have tracked and retracked my parcel, never a card put through my letter box, phone calls are useless, just keep on waiting in hope that one day my parcel will turn up. Perhaps in 2010!!
TWO years time? hey, that's not soo long, lol!
TRIED TO FIND SOMETHING GOOD TO WRITE ABOUT HDNL CUSTOMERS NO MOST OF THEM ARE ****S. DON'T YOU THINK IF YOU NEVER HAD A CARD THRU THE DOOR THAT HDNL DON'T HAVE THE PARCEL I BET IT'S A AMAZON PARCEL IF IT IS 20
you should try working for them... you think you have it bad ;)
you work for them? you're a big ****ing jerk.
You the ****ing jerks, you order goods when you know you wont be at home to accept delivery then ****ing moan when oyu get a card, because none of your neighbours like you so wont take delivery for you.
Mat why dont u take that dick off your head and stick it back up your ass
Stop ordering goods when you know you wont be home u ****ing moron
Does MAT stand for Moran asshole ****
i work for the wankers and if they gave a shit about me i'd give a shit about the customer. they keep increasing the work load and the money stays the same.
I used to be a local courier for what was then White Arrow Express, until they canned local couriers in favour of Business Express, who only employ van drivers and they can only deliver 9 to 5 as they are on a paid wage and not self employed like the couriers were. The van drivers were not pleased about the loss of the local couriers as they now have 3 times as much to deliver (+ bulk catalogues) for a low wage.
worse thing ever when the 2 companys joined together
Millions of people get there delivery from hdnl every year without a problem its just pricks like you who moan. If you aint in dont ****ing order. We hdnl drivers have to get a signature cos ****s like you are dishonest.
thats bullshit you fkn so called couriers were just taking the cream , fk off and leave it to us , were losing a fkn fortune because of ****s like you
I work hard to ensure ALL CUSTOMERS get their parcel...I DO NOT LIE...If I can get it off my van thats GOOD!!!. Not home...u got the card...u know it... don't blame us....we just doing our job!!!!
Who the hell works from 9-5. I'm still out delivering in gale force winds and pissing rain at 7pm. Give us a break you ungratefull gits.
I think HNDL suck!.There a bunch of incompetent automaton, rude, unprofessional sloths.I have been waiting for one of their rude foul mouthed drivers to deliver 'when i'm in' for two weeks!.I arranged a delivery on a Saturday once, stayed in my house, all day, and the cu*ts didn't turn up.I rang HNDL and told them to deliver the package in a taxi...they refused. They told me to arrange another delivery - i told them to 'go **** themselves!, and to tell Amazon their no good!.If they can't handle a small delivery, what are they like with big deliveries.Royal Mail are (or were) a much better option...pitty they go on strike so much. But despite that : they always got my orders to me.
Another thing i would like to mention is that : when i was desperately trying to get out of the bath and answer the door to one of HNDL's drivers i heard - when she was storming off, back to her van - the driver say : 'if he doesn't ****ing want to answer his door, then sod him!.' ****ing cheeky bitch!.
I think the company should be sent to the middle (if they can find it) to the middle of the pacific ocean and blown up with an atomic bomb.
ITS A GOOD JOB U DIDN'T GET YOUR PARCEL COS WE KICKED THE ****ING THING ALL OVER THE DEPOT THIS IS NOT STANDARD PRACTICE ITS JUST WE KNEW IT WAS 4 A MOANING LITTLE **** LIKE YOU WHO WANTS IT DELIVERED BETWEEN 4.30 & 4.37PM WHEN IT SUITS HIM IF I WAS YOUR DRIVER I'D SHIT THRO YOUR LETTERBOX
PERHAPS IF YOU WERE NOT HOVERING ROUND THE GENTS IN THE PARK LOOKING TO PLEASURE OLD MEN YOU MAY HAVE BEEN IN TO ACCEPT THE PARCEL.
you bunch of wingeing tossas order things knowing that you wont be home so why fcuking order things in first place not up to me to find alternative address dont have time and by the way dog breathe you are NOT THE ONLY ADDRESS we have to deliver to on any given day. So once again if you order stuff make sure YOUR ****IN IN
well i work for dhl home delivery and i give my customers what they want, i dont bother to go out in the day as like we all know the customers are normally out at work so i tend to go out in the evenings when everyone is home this way the clients always well nearly always get there parcels on time, like we all know there nothing worse than coming home and seeing the card through the door saying you had missed your delivery.
and if ever does happen were im out on the night and they are not in at the address i pop one of ours cards through the door with my personal phone number so the client can ring me directly to arrange a suitable delivery slot, i always work round my customer no a problem.
so remember guys dhl@home express
If HDNL drivers are so good how come they cant find my house when I have a house number, street name and a postcode. I know why, coz they're lazy useless ****ing idiots. If you cant stand doing a job because people are not at home and the money is crap go find another job and quit moaning about it. We have to go to work ourselves to earn money to buy things so you can deliver them. It's not our problem if the company we order from chooses to use a micky mouse outfit to deliver our stuff.
here's some useful email for HDNL:

I WORK FOR HDNL PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT NOT GETTING THEIR PARCEL,TRY PUTTING YOUR HOUSE NAME AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR DRIVE ,THEN WE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE,YOU MAY GET YOUR PARCEL THEN ON TIME. TRY PUTTING THE CORRECT HOUSE NAME ON PARCEL ALSO,TRY ALSO HAVING A DOOR BELL THAT WORKS,AND THE TV OR STEREO NOT BLASTING OUT LOUD.MOST NEIBOURS WILL NOT TAKE PARCELS IN FOR THE NEIBHOURS BECAUSE THEY DONT GET ONN.TRY NOT LOCKING YOUR GATE SO THE DRIVER CAN GET AROUND THE BACK TO LEAVE IT IN A SAFE PLACE EG OUTBUILDING OR GREENHOUSE .ALL YOU NEED TO DOO IS USE A BIT OF COMMON SENCE,SOME CLEVER PEOPLE DONT HAVE ANY OF THAT
With out a doubt we at HDNL have along way to go to get the service you our customers want
Some of your comments are well founded
We always try to deliver to on the occasions we can not provide this service
We do offer a second, third, forth and fith chance to deliver the service
We will be a better company in 2008
And hope to deliver the service we all strive towards
judging by the language it a wonder anybody wants you to deliver their parcels you are a right load of yobs by sounds of it
i agree i was supposed to get a parcel on the 3rd jan phoned them and they told me they had not recieved parcel and it was not in depot yet the company i am waiting for parcel from told me it was picked up on the 2nd its not the drivers fault but the depot and office staff i am supprised they dont need a map to find their own backsides when i ran a trace on my parcel it says they tried to deliver on the 3rd and twice on the 4th i dont think so i have been in all week with a poorly baby and no loud music or gates locked oh and by the way i have a number on my door and am appauled by the response of the minority of drivers on this site no wonder customers think you couldnt care less
Have just been treated to the great service ofered by HDNL. Was in all day and no delivery made. Tracking service says it has been delivered (Left on doorstep), but it wasn't of course. No way to contact HDNL other than write. They're useless!
well, so much for being a better company in 2008!
Last year I ordered from topshop, waited in all day for the delivery, tracking said it had been loaded on to van...no delivery. Ring them up having got a number from Topshop and they say it wasn't delivered because there was no address on parcel (what company ships a parcel with no address? complete bullshit) had to wait till the monday to get my delivery as they're too precious to deliver on Saturdays.
Ordered from Topshop again this friday just gone. was shipped on same day and delivery was expected on Monday. Called up at 3-4pm for a confirmation that it would be delivered remembering previous experience. Was told that yes, they had the address and it would be delivered, it wasn't. And the ****ing lying bastards had the cheek to say they'd left a calling card. Rang up, was told it would be delivered today, to call in the morning to confirm. Called at 9am, 10am, 11am and 2pm only to be told that it hadn't even left the bloody depot and that it wouldn't be delivered. Having asked them to get the depot to contact me, no contact was made and I've decided that this company are ****s and if they were shut down and all made redundant, I wouldn't give a fig for their unemployed because they're quite happy to treat people like shit. Bastards
Why do all these HDNL drivers think we are idiots for not being in, when they deliver a parcel.
When they order an item, do they tell their boss they're not coming into work next week because they have to wait for a parcel to be delivered,or that they have to be psychic and guess the day the driver is going to turn up.
I have been given two seperate dates for drivers to turn up and have waited in patiently both times with no shows. Will all the customer service staff (what sevice!), stop lying to everyone, and actually try and find out what your drivers are doing, instead of plucking any excuse out of the air.
And for all those HDNL drivers that have made foul mouthed comments about whingeing customers, take a look at yourselves, or your bosses, and see where the blame really lies. Squarely with your incompetant dozy selves! I'm calling Watchdog!
I worked for hdnl and the targets are to high.Managers just make you take more and more out which is not possable to deliver in 2 days never mind in a 10 hour day,But it makes the managers look good to higher managers that they got the shop floor cleared, even though they know deep down there is not a cat in hells chance of some of the parcels getting delivered? So thats why drivers think **** them if they can do any better then go on.And one manager in the blackburn depot is so far up another higher managers arse it makes all the drivers sick before they go out and deliver there parcels, and he was one of the worse drivers in the whole depot.but thinks he was the best?yea at arseholeing?
I wish I had paid the extra to have first class devlivery now. That will teach me!
My issue with HDNL is what is the point of telling me my parcel is being checked in and checked out every day. Why not deliver it, instead of taking it for a scenic tour of the South East? I wont blame the drivers since they just get handed the stuff to deliver but who are the morons running this company?
And they can hardly complain about ppl not being in their homes when they deliver. Who wants to sit around all day every day waiting despite knowing there is not even the smallest chance of receiving it!
The phone number of the Edmonton, North London depot is 0208 626 4044
To brfc forever, the quality expected from HDNL drivers is a lot higher than the standard you could not obviously give, it is not just about clearing the depot floor as you ignorantly state, but providing a service to high profile clients in a very competetive market. If it takes 2 days to clear a 10 hour target then how come we have certain drivers at Blackburn depot earning 25-30K a year on targets that are too high. Regarding Arseholers, why dont you make this manager aware, i am sure he will appreciate your honesty, it may make him a better manager.
Well I called the Newhaven branch to arrange to pick up a delivery that they tried to deliver......and they hung up on me...TWICE
Reply to A HOLE no 1.Obviously you are a manager with hdnl with a reply i got or you are the biggest arseholer of a driver i know sorry thats not correct ALIVO the biggest arseholer i know?.Of course certain drivers can earn 25/30k as you stated but are these not zone drivers or may i say drivers that get looked after by managers[ie]getting to take the cream of other peoples rounds?.As you said it is a very competetive market out there i do agree but HDNL are very much at the bottom of this market as no one gives a shit except yourself and of course top arseholer? alivo?.Also you stated to let this manager aware of him being a arseholer why would i do that when he knows himself hes one and all the guys know this also, its a bit embarrassing watching a grown man lick ass just to get himself up another rung of the ladder, well at least you know who it is now if this is not you already alivo?.I would also like to see these managers take out a 10 hour target out on a round to see how they would get on because to hear them in the morning they are great and they could do it no probs yea right? If you have any other comment to make just leave it and i will get back 2 you on the matter?. bye bye A HOLE no 1.
SORRY THE COMMENTS ABOVE ARE FROM BRFC FOREVER
I worked at the blackburn depot and have to say i agree with a lot of the comments you stated but you forgot one. When the managers have there morning meetings it not about parcels, broughtbacks, etc.etc,it is usually about who can we SACK now,or at least make the drivers life hell till he cracks and jacks it in or they try and stitch a missing parcel on you and then sack you,Or put you on a round that no other man in the right mind would do.If your face does not fit in you f****d its only a matter of time and your history.

We have the same at the Nottingham Depot!!
Shaun,
"arranged a delivery on a Saturday" Who did you arrange that with?
I bet it was with Amazon!
You TOLD HDNL to deliver your parcel in a taxi, then you told them to "go **** themselves"
What level of service do you think your're going to get with attitude?
"desperately trying to get out of the bath" whats up, is your bath too deep? You havent got any legs?
GET A LIFE!!!
Just another day at the blackburn office another driver sacked for doing his job correctly.(ie)letting a manager know he made a mistake and when the shit hit the fan the manager had all of sudden a bad spot of amnesia and could not remember a thing about the the driver telling him. Will i hope he can live with himself but then again hes a sad f***** who still lives at home with his mum and dog. I think hes shagging the poor ****ing dog well he will never get a woman.ps how many people is that you got sacked now you sad prick.
