Halo 3 dirty disc errors :(

I've still got plenty of beef with Halo 3 online, but now the game is getting its revenge. Just over a week after playing, with the disc in the whole machine the whole time, I'm getting the dirty disc error. On closer inspection, the disc is scratched around the middle in perfect circles. This is obviously something the console has done itself, but getting MS to recognise this and issue a replacement might not be so straightforward...more from in5ane
